The project of “Development and Industrialization of Max SDD” undertaken by DFAIC has come to the final stage after a deep cooperation with several academic and R&D Institutes.

A panel of experts from the Ministry of Science and Technology heard our report and gave an examination and assessment on the project during the defence conducted days ago.

This project is designed to produce a Chinese brand Max SDD by addressing relevant technical issues in SDD’s design, process, and reliability. Our goal is to break foreign monopoly and develop a self-developed, advanced, safe, and controllable Max SDD that can be industrialized and applied in civil and military world. This project presented a new horizon and challenge to us and is of high strategic significance. Once its production scales up, it can meet the country’s needs in space exploration, nuclear radiation detection, high-energy physical research and high-end devices.
